Winters FFA heading to regional speaking competition

Winters FFA students represented Winters High School at the Yolo Section Public Speaking competition on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Several students competed in the contest which was held virtually this year on the Zoom platform. Seven students placed within top 10 spots, including securing three first place spots. They will be moving on to compete at the Regional Contest.

Winters FFA students placed in the following categories:

Creed Speaking
1st Place: Mikenzie Hapworth Eldridge
3rd Place: Bianca Dyer Gonzalez

Impromptu Public Speaking
1st Place: Ava Skinner
5th Place: Christina Ramirez

Extemporaneous Public Speaking
1st Place: Anthony Carrillo

Prepared Public Speaking
2nd Place: Joe Aguiar

Job Interview
Top 8 Finalist: Kaden Tuttle
