By John Hansen Special to the Express The Yolo Audubon Society is offering a virtual Nature Journaling Workshop on Sunday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. The workshop is free and will be conducted over Zoom. No experience is necessary. Alison Kent will introduce the art of Nature Journaling, with a discussion of tools and materials, for about one-half hour. Participants will then go out in their own neighborhood, or area of choice, to walk and journal. The group will reconvene at 11:15 a.m. to discuss and share their journals. Those interested should register for the Zoom event on the group’s website: yoloaudubon.org. Previous workshops are also available for viewing on the Yolo Audubon YouTube channel. Examples, suggested art materials, additional resources and access to the YouTube channel are available on the website.
