Atlas Martinez, a member of the Winters High School varsity football team is this week’s athlete of the week. The Warriors traveled to Lake Tahoe last week for their annual football camp and Martinez stood out on both sides of the ball. “Atlas had a great camp,” said coach Daniel Ward. “He never came off the field for us in the 11 vs 11 scrimmages and especially the 7 vs 7 games. He plays receiver and corner back and was one of the best two-way players at camp. He was our leading receiver and go to guy all camp as well as being our best coverage corner back.”
