Albert Ramos, a senior on the Winters High School track team is this week’s athlete of the week. Ramos competed in the Northern Section Championship meet on May 25, in both the triple jump and as a member of the 4×400 relay team placing seventh and fifth respectively. Earlier in the season Ramos marked the longest triple jump in school history since 1986 with a leap of 41’2” and then brought home four gold medals from the league championship meet winning the triple jump, the 300 hurdles, the 4×100 and the 4×400 relays.
