Winters High School 2018 graduated seniors Alexis Garcia and Payton Paschoal played in the 41st Annual Optimist All Star Classic Softball game on Wednesday, May 30. The two Warriors traveled to Capital Christian High School to compete in the elite all-star game that brings in the top players from around the Sacramento area.

Both Garcia and Paschoal held their own in the nine inning game.

“They both did a great job,” said coach Rick Carner. “Alexis started on the mound and threw the first three innings. She shut them down in the first two innings and then in the third she had two outs and they made an error and allowed a few more batters come up and gets some runs. She did a great job. Payton started at center field and played the first two innings and then came back into the lineup later on. She did a great job of representing Winters as well.”
