Groundbreaking planned for WHS tech center

The community is invited to the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Career Technology Education Center at Winters High School on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 5:30 p.m.

The new center will be located on Grant Avenue to the east of the main building and will house four classrooms: science, engineering, technology, and culinary arts.  The new building will be built with Measure R Bond funds. The community passed Measure R in June 2014.

Andersen signs Letter of Intent

After his successful season, 2015 Winters grad TJ Andersen was offered a scholarship to come back to Northern California and play basketball for Notre Dame De Namur in Belmont, California. NDNU is a Division 2 program that competes in the PAC West Conference.
