Jeremy Alberg, a team captain for the Winters High School JV boys basketball team, is the Athlete of the Week. Last Saturday, December 16, in the home game against St. Helena, Alberg made two clutch freethrows with 10 seconds left in the game, to give the Warriors a 42-41 victory over the Saints.

“Coach Wigmore and I were not surprised at all when he put them in,” said coach Jon Davis. “Jeremy is the first one in the gym everyday. His hard work and dedication can’t be matched. It has paid off and we’re seeing it every game. He’s one of the guys we want on the free throw line when time is winding down.”
