Soccer team shuts out Vacaville Christian 8-0

In a dominating team performance, the Winters High School boys soccer team shut out Vacaville Christian on the road last Thursday, Dec. 7. The Warriors put four in the net in the first half and another four in the second for an 8-0 victory.

Ivan Santana, the team’s leading scorer, pulled off the hat trick, scoring three goals in the game to lead the offensive attack. Oscar Sanchez scored two goals and had two assists in a strong performance. Luis Diaz, Anthony Jimenez and Julio Jaramillo each scored one goal. Manuel Delgado had two assists, while Eduardo Garcia-Barrera, McKay Baker and Kevin Reyes each had one assist for the Warriors.
